Growing up I was always surrounded by beauty — rivers, open pastures and sunsets over cornfields that felt like they declared God’s glory. I came to realize that while nature is breathtaking, it isn’t made in God’s image and He didn’t send His Son to die for landscapes, He sent Him for people! That truth really shaped how I see photography.

I grew up on a farm
On a small Iowa farm, my childhood was filled with riding horses, herding cattle and collecting chicken eggs. The view from my mom's kitchen window is still the most beautiful place I've ever visited.
